Also – and this is pathetic, I know – but I'm so proud of myself for actually like... keeping up with his tags and not horribly dropping threads like I always do. ;; I mean, I'm still posting relatively slowly and I spend way too much time overthinking his posts but IT'S JUST A REALLY NICE FEELING to be so active, even if it's with just one character.

First of all, everyone needs to watch these. [ profile] tinted_glass and I were literally dying of laughter last night.

Secondly, I have spent like two or three hours the past two nights (each) getting SUCKED INTO THE FUCKING STAR TREK WIKI. GODDAMMIT.

Thirdly, super delayed reaction about Star Trek being AWESOME. I lovelovelove stuff like that where a heavily established timeline is rewritten and previously famously important characters are put in different circumstances than they "should" be in, but "fate" causes them to end up in the same place due to the value of their character. OR SOMETHING. Basically it tickled me in some of my favorite places and it's a concept you don't see done as a permanent and extended thing too often. :> ALSO KIRK WAS KIND OF REALLY REALLY CUTE. And it was cool reading about the quasi-canon prequel comics where the TNG people are all like YO SPOCK WASSUP YA WE GONNA MAKE YOU A SHIP FOR BLACK HOLES AND SHIT FUCK YEAH

Fourthly, TNG is still my favfavfavsjdhfkjfsahkdgds FROM MAH CHILDHOOD and I have been reminding myself of this by watching First Contact (I'd never seen it before I CAN KIND OF UNDERSTAND WHY MY PARENTS NEVER SHOWED IT TO US FUCKING CREEPY BORG) and Generations, which I must've watched like 3487293874912 times as a kid (old man fist fight: Kirk & Picard vs. Linderman fffffffffffffffffff) ALSO I LOVE HOW TIME TRAVEL IS NEVER CONSISTENT IN STAR TREK EVER FFFFFFFF I guess that's where Heroes learned it from OHHHHH BURRRRRRRRRN

Fifthly, I am kind... of... seriouslyconsideringappingData. It would be the biggest fucking challenge ever in terms of both research, series-watching, in-game development, in-game writing, in-game informational execution, and feeling COMPLETELY OVERWHELMED OH GOD STAR TREK but that is kind of why it is so appealing. >_> I am a masochist, apparently. PLUS I HAVE SEEN LIKE MAYBE ONE EPISODE OF TOS EVER SO OH LORD POSER

Sixthly, Erin, you should worry about actual [ profile] damned needs before thinking of apping such work-intensive characterskjshafks

Seventhly, I need TNG icons. :<

Eighthly, I WANT A FUCKING KIRK AT [ profile] damned. ...................DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT

I'm on such a Batman kick right now. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ I spent a couple of days procrastinating on my paper watching my second season TAS DVDs while taking notes and LOVING THEM. <333 Now I need MOAR. FIRST AND THIRD SEASON, BABY; THIS IS WHY I NEED A JOB. (don't need that blue-eyed new Batman adventures stuff so much THOUGH BATMAN BEYOND HOLY CRAP TERRY I WANTS TO WATCH HIM TOOOO maybe I'll rewatch Joker Returns, since I have the DVD of that, courtesy of Court. I've already watched it before, but. >_>;) I also need to get my hands on Mask of the Phantasm, though I saw it pretty recently on TV.

...SOOOOOOO, SAY I EVENTUALLY APPED SOME VERSION OF BRUCE WAYNE AT [ profile] damned if I made sure I could handle Cid and Sylar... ...goddammit, [ profile] dark_knight is deleted and purged iwantitiwantit though [ profile] damned_batman would be pretty perfect NGGGHHHH

Also, I was so impressed when I watched an episode of Batman:TAS and they had subtitled Japanese. Like, real Japanese. HARDCORE, especially since it was before the trend. (I also love how in the majority of episodes, they blatantly avoid words like "kill" or "murder" or "DIE" and don't have blood while at the same time they talk about racketeering and extortion and blackmail and DRUGS and threaten to bash people's brains in and yank out people's livers and say "oh my god" a couple of times and wave tommy guns everywhere.) And omg Mark Hammil Joker <3333333 and AKJDLKA JOKER AND TWO-FACE NEXT MOVIE NO I HAVEN'T GOTTEN OVER IT

Also, I actually did get five pages of my paper done tonight. A MIRACLE. \o/ Five more each day to come and I should be all right.

Also, Star Trek: Insurrection was on the other night, and yes, Picard was still kickass. And yes, Riker still looked so much worse without a beard. "SADDLE UP. LOCK AND LOAD." lol Data <333
