installing a jacuzzi
Holy crap.
I'd heard something crazy went down and I'd even heard it involved Kutner, but I was totally not expecting that, holy shit.
Man, the scene where they discover Kutner's body was incredibly well-done. It was one of those "what you don't see is what makes it powerful" moments, and the way it was acted out and framed and everything was just... really good. When I saw the pool of blood, I like gasped and my hand like shot up to my mouth and stayed there for the rest of the scene. dfjhakfj The way we saw everyone reacting to it was also really well-done (House and Wilson were adorable <3333), but I was most moved by Taub's stake in the whole thing. He's been really well-developed this season, and I was watching the funeral scene with a fair amount of emotional detachment until they showed Taub finally breaking down in the hall, at which point I suddenly started to tear up bad. D:
That said, the patient storyline was pretty damn weak (though I guess that's to be expected?) and while I understand the point of the whole thing is to demonstrate how people can be Really Not Okay without showing it, it feels insanely cheap to kill a character off without any development at all (especially since Kutner was pretty underveloped in the first place aside from being goofy and growing up a traumatized orphan) and cheaper still not to give the audience any kind of explanation in the aftermath. But who knows? Maybe there will be some big reveal in the upcoming episodes.
In other news, now that I've turned in that paper... should start on them APPS. ::CRACKS KNUCKLES.::
