I had a Dark Knight dream last night (I've been having Batman dreams in general, but this one I can actually remember a little beyond the theme) and I'm pretty sure some part of it involved me being the Joker. THIS IS.... VERY DISTURBING FOR A WIDE VARIETY OF REASONS. D: D: D: (I'm pretty sure I was scheming on how to get Sal Maroni's men to trust me enough so they would turn their backs and I could kill them. WTF.)
In other news....okay, that's a lie since nearly everything in my life is Batman related right now as I've become fucking obsessed in a fairly short amount of time...
Turned out IMAX was sold out for today, but we're still gonna go see TDK again for free at Jenny's theatre. 8D ahhakjadsfoah Also, I went through my Batman: TAS DVDs and ripped all the best Two-Face episodes to share with the world.
JESUS ARE HARVEY AND BRUCE GAY. IT'S KIND OF RIDICULOUS and especially funny since Two-Face of course is oblivious about Batman being Bruce. The last episode I have of Two-Face on my DVDs is wonderful - it's the typical story where they try to help Harvey recuperate and get surgery and he just... fails. AND BATMAN: "THIS TIME YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE FOR YOURSELF, HARVEY. LIFE... OR DEATH. THE COIN... OR ME." Geez, Batman, being way too obviously jealous thar. Meanwhile, while he goes into surgery Harvey's all reminiscing about this "club" he and Bruce used to go to and how it was the BEST TIME OF HIS LIFE LULZ. I also love how Batman starts off calling him 'Dent' but then moves back to 'Harvey' because Bruce just can't be impersonal when it comes to his best bud. And meanwhile, Robin's all butthurt about how Batman's all focused on HARVEY and not HIM. But then he gets rewarded with Bruce slinking an arm around his shoulders as they walk back to the car from Arkham. No, no, not joking.

scans_daily makes me realize why I never really warmed up to the Batman/Robin pairing beyond gay jokes and laughs. Apparently, I was waiting for something much better.
Also, while before TDK, I found it impossible to choose my favorite Batman villain between the Joker and Two-Face, I can't deny that it's Two-Face at this point. Shouldn't have been able to deny it when I FLIPPED OUT at finding out Harvey Dent became Two-Face in the movie through that damn trailer, but you know, I'm overly cautious at declaring things like that. >_>;
- Some TDK spoilers! - Still, I adore the Joker and especially CARTOON JOKER who never ceases to make me crack up. I also love how it seems to be a recurring theme in the comics that Joker likes to deliberately take measures to keep Two-Face crazy whenever he's on the road to recovery due to the Joker's desire to keep the world insane and also out of BOREDOM APPARENTLY (LOL CARTOON JOKER <333) which makes the situation in the movie even more awesome. The symbolism of the Joker wanting chaos and of Two Face representing the dual order and chaos inherent in the world and the Joker thus encouraging the chaos in Two-Face to continue dkfahdks I EAT IT UP. And man, Joker's line in the movie about how he "took the white knight of Gotham and brought him down to our level..." ....NGGHHH IT'S SO DELICIOUS ON SO MANY LEVELS.
Okay, okay, a couple more things before I get back to apps... First off, Court's been reading through all the viral game info on Harvey pre-movie and man, it just makes his transformation in the movie even more heartbreaking. (And omg in that Gotham Tonight interview when he's all "THAT DAY WILL BE THE DAY THAT I BECOME EVERYTHING I STAND AGAINST" and "LUCK IS OUR LAST RESORT" dkfhasd so SAADDDD DDDD:) I'm also absolutely blown away by how much continuity there is between the movie and the viral game and how it all contributes so well to the movie canon. It's pretty nuts, and I'm so sad I had no idea this game existed until too late. DDDD: AT LEAST WE FOUND THE WIKI. (and also omg that story about how Bruce crashed a Dent fundraiser with the 100 UNIVERSE GIRLS PFFFFFFT BRUCE <333)
...I'm prolly gonna ramble about apping Bruce and his possible in-game interaction (if I get in, since I expect to inevitably have competition) with his canonmates, quasi-canonmates and ttly new people next entry.SOMEONE HELP ME NO WAIT DON'T HELP ME SINCE I'M ENJOYING THIS ALL WAY TOO MUCH
