I had a Dark Knight dream last night (I've been having Batman dreams in general, but this one I can actually remember a little beyond the theme) and I'm pretty sure some part of it involved me being the Joker. THIS IS.... VERY DISTURBING FOR A WIDE VARIETY OF REASONS. D: D: D: (I'm pretty sure I was scheming on how to get Sal Maroni's men to trust me enough so they would turn their backs and I could kill them. WTF.)

In other news.... okay, that's a lie since nearly everything in my life is Batman related right now as I've become fucking obsessed in a fairly short amount of time...

Turned out IMAX was sold out for today, but we're still gonna go see TDK again for free at Jenny's theatre. 8D ahhakjadsfoah Also, I went through my Batman: TAS DVDs and ripped all the best Two-Face episodes to share with the world.

JESUS ARE HARVEY AND BRUCE GAY. IT'S KIND OF RIDICULOUS and especially funny since Two-Face of course is oblivious about Batman being Bruce. The last episode I have of Two-Face on my DVDs is wonderful - it's the typical story where they try to help Harvey recuperate and get surgery and he just... fails. AND BATMAN: "THIS TIME YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE FOR YOURSELF, HARVEY. LIFE... OR DEATH. THE COIN... OR ME." Geez, Batman, being way too obviously jealous thar. Meanwhile, while he goes into surgery Harvey's all reminiscing about this "club" he and Bruce used to go to and how it was the BEST TIME OF HIS LIFE LULZ. I also love how Batman starts off calling him 'Dent' but then moves back to 'Harvey' because Bruce just can't be impersonal when it comes to his best bud. And meanwhile, Robin's all butthurt about how Batman's all focused on HARVEY and not HIM. But then he gets rewarded with Bruce slinking an arm around his shoulders as they walk back to the car from Arkham. No, no, not joking.

Speaking of which, scans_daily makes me realize why I never really warmed up to the Batman/Robin pairing beyond gay jokes and laughs. Apparently, I was waiting for something much better.

Also, while before TDK, I found it impossible to choose my favorite Batman villain between the Joker and Two-Face, I can't deny that it's Two-Face at this point. Shouldn't have been able to deny it when I FLIPPED OUT at finding out Harvey Dent became Two-Face in the movie through that damn trailer, but you know, I'm overly cautious at declaring things like that. >_>;

- Some TDK spoilers! - Still, I adore the Joker and especially CARTOON JOKER who never ceases to make me crack up. I also love how it seems to be a recurring theme in the comics that Joker likes to deliberately take measures to keep Two-Face crazy whenever he's on the road to recovery due to the Joker's desire to keep the world insane and also out of BOREDOM APPARENTLY (LOL CARTOON JOKER <333) which makes the situation in the movie even more awesome. The symbolism of the Joker wanting chaos and of Two Face representing the dual order and chaos inherent in the world and the Joker thus encouraging the chaos in Two-Face to continue dkfahdks I EAT IT UP. And man, Joker's line in the movie about how he "took the white knight of Gotham and brought him down to our level..." ....NGGHHH IT'S SO DELICIOUS ON SO MANY LEVELS.

Okay, okay, a couple more things before I get back to apps... First off, Court's been reading through all the viral game info on Harvey pre-movie and man, it just makes his transformation in the movie even more heartbreaking. (And omg in that Gotham Tonight interview when he's all "THAT DAY WILL BE THE DAY THAT I BECOME EVERYTHING I STAND AGAINST" and "LUCK IS OUR LAST RESORT" dkfhasd so SAADDDD DDDD:) I'm also absolutely blown away by how much continuity there is between the movie and the viral game and how it all contributes so well to the movie canon. It's pretty nuts, and I'm so sad I had no idea this game existed until too late. DDDD: AT LEAST WE FOUND THE WIKI. (and also omg that story about how Bruce crashed a Dent fundraiser with the 100 UNIVERSE GIRLS PFFFFFFT BRUCE <333)

...I'm prolly gonna ramble about apping Bruce and his possible in-game interaction (if I get in, since I expect to inevitably have competition) with his canonmates, quasi-canonmates and ttly new people next entry. SOMEONE HELP ME NO WAIT DON'T HELP ME SINCE I'M ENJOYING THIS ALL WAY TOO MUCH

First, though, need to read apps, plan out threads for Liquid, and post as Sylar. DON'T GET AMBITIOUS, ERIN.

That dream sounds pretty awesome, actually. XD SURE, IT'S KINDA DISTURBING THAT YOU'RE DREAMING YOURSELF AS THE JOKER, but so long as you don't act on it, it's all good...?

The more you say, the greater my urge to rewatch all of B:TAS. XD Also, at the very least to scour it for an episode Jax mentioned in Harley's Wiki page where Crane stopped in the middle of a tirade when being escorted back to Arkham in order to tell her hello. I DON'T REMEMBER THAT AT ALL.

God, I love how awesome the viral game was. I knew about it for a while before the movie started, but I was never anywhere that they would be holding events, which REALLY made me sad. THANK YOU FOR FINDING THE WIKI. And yes, there's a whole lot of continuity, which is really nice. Nice-ish, for me, since it gave me just a TAD bit more insight on Crane that partly amused me and partly intimidated me. BUT IT'S AWESOME, REGARDLESS.

And I look forward to that ramble. 8D I can already tell you that Crane will hone in on Bruce and start mocking him. XD Because you know, that playboy smile ain't gonna get him ANYWHERE. Well...it really might, BUT STILL.

...But yeah, apps should probably come first. XD

I was ttly gonna app animated!Batman before TDK blew me away, but you already knew that. 8D I'M SO EXCITED FOR HARLEY INTERACTION/CONFUSION AND ALSO FOR INTERACTION WITH OUR NEWLY ACCEPTED DCAU FLASH. But yeah, I love how I've been rewatching TAS and it's still so awesomely enjoyable even as an adult. <333

GOD I WISH I HADN'T BEEN OBLIVIOUS. ;___; Looking at all the stuff after the fact makes me baawww. D: And aw, man, I know how that is to find extra stuff for a character you already play and being like "DAMMIT!" but I'm sure your Crane is all good. <3

LOL PLAYBOY BRUCE. AND CRANE-MOCKING. That would be interesting for Bruce. "HOLY CRAP SCARE.... I mean, who are you, some pleb? A HA HA HA. HA." Speaking of which, I've been wondering... should I have his "real name" be Bruce Wayne or something fake? I'm not sure since if nurses addressed him by his actual name, he'd be forced to play up the playboy persona from the get-go (WHICH IS A GOOD THING) but on the other hand, he'd a) initially be afraid his identity as Batman had been found out (due to his suddenly waking up there and possibly getting his "delusions" explained to him by a nurse) and b) would get his cover as Batman blown pretty quickly to fellow Gothamites by other-fandom patients, since he'd introduce himself as Bruce Wayne under the assumption that everyone knew he was Bruce the Billionaire already. RUN-ON SENTENCE HERE TOO

....hmm....... I THINK I'M LEANING TOWARDS YEAH on Bruce Wayne just so he's forced to do the daytime playboy persona, which is a big appeal to me, but YEAH. THOUGHTS?

I'll probably start it after I get back from the convention next weekend, because I'll have about a week free before school starts back up to just do whatever, and that'd be a really good way to spend it. OH MAN, THAT'S GONNA BE AWESOME, ON BOTH COUNTS. POOR FLASH. And it's Batman, pretty much everything is always gonna be enjoyable in some way or another. 8D Even if it's super-cheesy, I still get a kick out of watching the Adam West movie for the Bat-Shark Repellant.

I knooooow. D: It looked like so much fun. And I want one of those cell phones that got a call from Harvey. And I sure hope so. The main thing is just that I found out how much...better he was at his job than I initially thought.

And as for the name...I don't know. I'm thinking that yeah, you should try to keep up that daytime persona, because it'd be pretty fun, but at the same time it definitely might not be a good idea when it comes to fellow Gothamites. Obviously there's gonna be some people already aware that Bruce = Batman, so he won't need to if he meets anyone like that. But I know Crane, at least, would get suspicious if he heard the nurses calling him Bruce or Mr. Wayne. I mean, it would be fun to have him be forced to play up the Bruce Wayne part, but I'm thinking that he'll probably need to keep his cover as Batman, especially if/when he gets the suit back. I DON'T KNOW. YOU HAVE TIME TO DECIDE...?
