Checking out the Dirge of Cerberus site. It's actually getting me mildly excited about it. (I love how this is, in fact, not due to Vincent but instead due to the Van Helsing-esque music and CAAIIITTT SIIITHHHHHH <333333333 I wonder if he'll be a big part of it omfg REEEEEEEEVE.)

Still, the idea of Vincent acting like the badass he IS instead of a whiny, fandom-manifested angst boy... is cool.

You know, after seeing the way FFVIII was produced, I'm surprised they didn't take THAT opportunity to whore out FFVII like a young Vietnamese schoolgirl - nothing, uh, against them - when it was still fresh. It's a small wonder that they've taken all this time and still expect it to put out like... well, you get the point.
Advent Children was a decent idea. Before Crisis was innovative. Everything else? Whoring out. Seriously. Then again, I guess I can't grow to really expect much more from Square's half of Square-Enix anymore.
OH AND BY THE WAY LOOK AT MY ICON! I FOUND THE FUCKING GESTURE! ITS THE HAND THING!

XDDD Yeah, the whole COMPILATION OMFG thing is getting rather old, though I suppose we should wait and see if the games are actually GOOD or not before putting them down so much. (I hate the whole gimmicky thing... cheapening FFVII like that. :/ Hopefully, the additions to the plot canon will be worthwhile... Though I've always firmly believed that all the humans die at the end of FFVII and LIKED that ending.)

Honestly, don't they realize that all they need to make is A FUCKING REMAKE?????????

I still think they might, despite being ridiculed for thinking so. Why else would they go through the trouble of rendering pre-Diamond Weapon/Sister Ray Midgar PS3 Tech Demo?

ANYTHING with "Final Fantasy VII" affixed to it will be sold out within hours of its release, hon. It's like Star Wars. The prequels are, as a general rule, TERRIBLE...but people still buy into it (like MEEE!).

Plus, DoC (isn't it pathetic that I'm already shortening it like that? XD) DOES look badass. Like if MGS raped Hojo (or...more precisely..."was raped BY") and together they came up with some wonderful, unholy demon-changing-into lovechild. With K. Haruta TOTALLY jumping on the bandwagon.

It may look quasi-badass, but it's still a DMC clone. (So far. I'll have to see the gameplay too, of course.) The really promising aspect seems to be CAIIIITTT SIIITHHH.
