In other news:

- I have now seen all of The Office, thereby exhausting one possible procrastination show (though I want to rewatch 4th season in order now that I've seen the rest). Thoughts -Some spoilers!-: While I still crown It's Always Sunny as my absolute hands-down favorite comedy show, I thoroughly enjoyed my marathoning and was surprised by how many moments of interaction genuinely moved me emotionally and/or got me to go "awwwwww ;_;" out loud. I think second season was my favorite in the fact that I was totally riveted by the Jim/Pam unrequited love triangle (WHAT? DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT) which was handled really well and steadily built up to the confrontation at the end. Unfortunately, it didn't feel as engaging/endearing to me in the third season, where Karen coming in made it feel more like your typical "ugh just get with each other already" TV love drama since the Jim/Karen relationship couldn't be justified as well as the Pam/Roy one in terms of desperate commitment and it didn't set up as profound of a character development obstacle as the engagement did (Pam gathering courage, etc.). Also, I couldn't help but feel weirdly disappointed knowing from seeing 4th season that they actually did get together in the end kinda anticlimactically. >_>;

I was also surprised by just how much the show endeared you to even the most seemingly unsavory characters, which really gave it depth and got me to give it emotional investment that I wasn't expecting to--like, I found myself smiling goofily whenever really cute stuff happened. ALSO, tinted_glass, I can honestly tell you that the Michael/Ryan jokes were definitely some of the ones I laughed at the hardest, and I cracked up at the end of the season finale when Ryan dumps Kelly and then glances at the camera with that look filled with all his devious douchery.

...SO THOSE ARE MY THOUGHTS IN A NUTSHELL.

- I have gotten my hands on S1 of Batman:TAS and I have S3 coming in the mail. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! MOAR PROCRASTINATION.

- I've been replaying MGS2 with Andrew and MGS3 by myself. I forgot how much ass I can kick at those games if I play intensely enough. 8D Unfortunately, I am still very rusty. Which brings me to...

- HOLY SHIT ANDREW HAS MGS4 ANDREW HAS MGS4 ANDREW HAS MGS4 I AM GOING TO BE PLAYING IT TONIGHT OHMYGOD NO WAY

- If I weren't the one who'd put up the Activity Check, I'd be so scared by it. :( asagldf so sorry, guys. I hate being scary.
