As you guys might've already heard from

burningvigor, she and I have found a new RP we're super-excited about. Seriously, we applied as characters within the same day we heard of it, so impressed we were by the organization and the set-up/setting itself. The name is

conscripted; it's a war environment with mod-assigned ranks and positions, along with three separate, warring factions, so it's pretty perfect for Metal Gear Solid characters. Court apped Snake and I apped Liquid; I'm totally excited since this is the first time I've been able to play him at a multifandom RP due to his uh... self-obsessed nature and being physically unable to NOT BE IN CHARGE OF SOMETHING SIGNIFICANT. (Hence why I can't have him at

damned. D8)

Anyway, um, pimping the game. 8D

conscripted IS A MULTI-FANDOM ROLEPLAY GAME THAT CENTERS AROUND WARFARE WITH A DYSTOPIAN BACKGROUND. ANY CHARACTER FROM ANY FANDOM IS ACCEPTED.

Three warring countries with a common goal, and a neutral country trying to sort out their differences. For countless years, these regions have been fighting each other for more land. Their motivation was greed, and those who fight were not willing. What seemed to be a pointless war gradually dissipated the number of soldiers and then the country’s population.

That was not enough to convince the warlords that the war should end, however. Eventually, they found a way to pull bodies from the dead and (incidentally) another world. They were summoned to fight for that country no matter the circumstances. Friends will clash, families will fight and rivals will join. It would only be the matter of which of VALORA, VERITY, or EX FAVILA would get the best soldiers first.

There's a Raiden too, and WE WANT MORE MGS CHARACTERS. Please? 8D The game hasn't started yet, so I can't really say how the playing will end up being, but me and Court have already had questions we needed to bring to the mods and they were extremely understanding and accommodating about it. <3

damned apps open. D: BAD FOR MY HEALTH, though of course apps take higher priority. And speaking of

damned apps opening, I'm still crossing my fingers for Heroes people. <3333 I've been having a blast with Sylar (ALTHOUGH HE TOTALLY SCREWED HIMSELF OVER HERE AAAAHAHAHAHA) and he hasn't even encountered more than one canonmate in person yet. >D

HE JUMPED THE GUN JUST A LITTLE! But she's still a little naive, and could believe the "saw it happen" excuse, since Aidou and Edward know it because of that. Then again, they were trying to eat her and not just her brains. XD

And Elle setting them all up was a brilliant piece of work, haha. Even if Claire disagrees. XD

YAY am all excited for Damned apps! XD Even if they are doomy. Have you heard if we're getting any more potential Heroes characters?

And HMM, well, there's someone who was asking about Elle but who was disappointed that she was already taken (she might app someone else, though?) and then someone else a while back was asking us questions about Hiro. Aside from that, I put up an ad for the game at a Heroes comm and ~~because I'm a horrible stalker and tried out a page stats embed in the ad post and in our userinfo~~, I know that at least a couple of people came back to view the stuff several times over a long period time, so they might be thinking of apping someone... maybe? 8D;

UMM, I think she realized you were busy tonight, so we were going to aim for tomorrow instead? Does that work better for you?

Haha, WHEE, that would be awesome. New characters are just fun in general, but it's always a blast to get more from our characters canons. XD *is very excited for apps*

Sounds neat, but I'm kind of unsure about the future of my online roleplaying at the moment. So I must decline and close my eyes and NOT EVEN LOOK AT THE PRETTIES at the moment. XD

A war environment sounds like a great, panfandom place for MGS characters, though! :D

Well, me and Erin took Liquid and Snake from post-MGS2, so they would know about everything that happened up until then. The Raiden is from the beginning of MGS4. Unless you were asking something else? :X

Also, I must chuck in my vote for Otacon because Snake isn't complete without him. ;_;

See, if I took post-MGS2 Ocelot, he'd still be a walking spoiler unless I just COMPLETELY ignored everything that happened in MGS4, which also, in turn, completely ignores his true motivations for what he's doing, not to mention the EXPLANATIONS for what he's doing.

JUMPING IN. You can totally do it! I mean, think about how many people out there RP. There's no reason you can't too! I mean, you know the characters well, so as long as you have a good idea of how they act (which I know you do), there's nothing to worry about. And you can always refresh yourself on the canon if you feel like you're losing a hold on the characterization, though I find it's easier to RP someone the longer you do it.

Anyway, you're a better writer than a looot of RPers out there, so... yeah! As for time, I don't think this game will go too fast (you technically only need to post once every two weeks to be active, though posting more often = more fun, of course), and... yeah. There's always the option of going on hiatus if you get really busy, too.

On the other hand, if you really aren't up to it, then just let us know and we'll quit bugging you. 8D We're just excited for more people to join and stuff.

Iiiii am going to app Jr. for multiple reasons. :x I don't think I'd be devoted enough or CONNIVING enough to play Ocelot to his full potential, and although I totally love Hal to bits, I don't have a firm enough grasp on him to roleplay him -- plus, I want to be on the battlefield, not making robots. Sorry to disappoint, but I very much look forward to playing with you guys! Jr. at least has no hangups about whatever's occurred in the Metal Gear universe, so he can be friends with everybody. 8D

Since I've started playing MGS4, I've fallen in love with Otacon, but that's just it: all I've ever played is MGS4. ...And I read 'The Last Days of FOXHOUND' webcomic, XD. Its pretty funny, I understand almost everything that's going on in the game simply because of having read that comic. But Otacon and Sunny are just so cute!

Drebin is awesome too, but with how far I've gotten so far, it looks like Drebin might be a bad guy. But he has a Coke-drinking, cigarette-smoking monkey, he can't be too evil!
