Omg.

Well, today's my birthday first of all (HAPPY B-DAY TO ME) but what's even MORE important is the fact that as a birthday present, my mom dropped me and Court off down at the Surplus Store to look for costume stuffz.

So, we look through everything, but the only REALLY good stuff we can find for costumes is cargo pants, and we're all disappointed that we can't find anything else, and then I look through the display case and my eyes go wide and I grab Court by the sleeve and pull her backwards and point.

Goggles.

Perfect. Flying. Goggles.

Granted, they're black, but otherwise, BEAUTIFUL for a Cid costume.

So we get super excited, then go back to the piles upon piles of green cargo pants, and by me and Court's wonderful observations, and Court's willingness to be a dressup mannequin (XD) we find a really nice pair for the job, and I call my mom to tell her to pick us up and come in so that she can pay for the stuff. (I was gonna pay her back out of the birthday money I've gotten so far.)

So then we get to the counter, and the lady tells us that the only flying goggles they have left are the chromier, more expensive versions of the one I want. And for ONCE, I assert myself and I'm like NO NO NO I WANT THE BLACK ONES THEY'RE BETTER. And so they let me take home the one in the display case. :D AND. My mom was super nice, and even though I told her she didn't have to, she paid for all the stuff as a birthday present.

OMG.

So now we're gonna go get YUMMY Japanese food. So. Um. I CAN'T WAIT TO GET STARTED ON MAKING THE JACKETkjshfkajsgf though it's probably gonna end up being a pain. Plus, it's gonna be HARD to find a pair of gloves that go up to my elbows. x_x;;

BUT OMG I HAVE THE GOGGLESKJhkfhsdajfhsakjfskafg they're beautiful. And I'm wearing the cargo pants right now, right over Cid's pink boxers. <3
