1861 / 50000 words. 4% done!

Not much. But it's something. 8D I have 4000+ words done of the Spn fic, but I'm glad I'm getting into the original story groove. Woooo. I probably won't get to all of 50,000 since this is a story I want to be at least half-decent, and my slowness+attention span = super slow, but uh... yeah.

Played through the first case; now I'm gonna take my chance to work on the Supernatural fic before NaNo starts. Speaking of NaNo, I should get a writing playlist together like elendraug suggested; seems like a really good idea.

Halloween tomorrow! (Or today, depending on how you look at it.) I'll probably throw some kind of costume together and man the door for trick-or-treaters; had a lot of fun doing that last year and seeing all the adorable little kids. :D

I have an awesome new Supernatural layout! I didn't quite make it myself, but I decided to hunker down and make the best of my new life as a free account user, so I credit reversescollide for the awesome template I used. Wooo. I think it turned out pretty nice, in fact, PROBABLY NICER THAN MY PAST PAID ACCOUNT LAYOUTS. :X

Looking forward to / dreading November 1st. Trying out NaNo for my very first time; we'll see how far I get. Also, I really, really wanna write a Supernatural fic but I have no clear ideas. MUST FIND SOME.

On a more serious note, I hope all of my fellow SoCal buddies are doing okay in wake of the fires that are ravaging the area. I'm okay here in the middle of LA, but when I was up in Santa Clarita for my figure drawing workshop, the wind started blowing in the smoke from up north and I was OUTTA THERE as soon as the workshop finished. Can't imagine how you guys are handling the conditions on a daily basis. DX I hear they closed down CalArts for the time being, and... stuff, so I wonder if I'll be able to go this Sunday.

Alec, Matt, and Marc, and someone said maybe Jacob, but I'd be open to any other suggestions. He's a good-natured detective with a wife back home trying to quit smoking and on this uh... heavily-shrouded case thing. In a post-apocalyptic underground world. He also of course has a sekrit tragic past, but that would be a SPOILER. (Ohgoditallsoundsocliche) PLZ TO BE HELPING ME, I DREW THIS DOODLE ESPECIALLY FOR YOU, F-LIST and I need help since I'm going to be trying out NaNo this year and this guy is a main character in the original story I wanna work on. 8D;
