This weekend was... exhausting, to say the least. XD I'd been wanting to get the fourth Tsubasa for a while, (ever since I read Court's fourth XXXHolic and heard Mokona talking about Fai forcefeeding Kurogane, mmhmm), except I only had seven bucks and I was tightly budgeting to buy Zac a birthday present, (the source of which was supposed to be last week's allowance, which I still have yet to receive....)
Anyway. So I eyed it longingly as Zac, Court, Andrew, and I went wandering through Sam Goody, and then again when we got to Border's.....
And then, suddenly, Court goes up to me and is like: "Look."
And... and....
TRIGUN MAXIMUM NUMBER FOUR
Holy shit. Hyperventilate. If you didn't know that the Trigun manga is like my favorite manga ever... well, now you do.
I immediately turned to my friends and I was like "....You guys got three bucks I could borrow?"
Hahaha. So. I. GOOOTTTT ITTTTTTTTTTTTTT. <333333333333
Read. Read. Oh, God, how I read. And... it was wonderful and awesome and MIDVALLEY AND WOLFWOOD SEXY AND VASH AND ZAZIE AND KNIVES AND LEGATO AND JSHFG,dhjsfg,sdfghkjsdhgkjs
Why do I suddenly want to make yet ANOTHER Trigun layout...? >____>;;;
Seriously, though----[rant]
The reason that manga is so fucking awesome is that, obviously, everyone adores the anime and everyone loves it and it's so crazy-good and so forth. HOWEVER. What most people do not know, (since the Trigun manga came out in America so much later than the animated series, and since it is still being written).... is that the manga, literally, is ten times better. If you loved the Trigun anime, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, BUY THE MANGA. All the Gung-Ho guns are much better explained, and Knives is... oh god, sexyKnives and PARALYZED LEGATO and and MIDVALLEY'S TORTURED SOOUUULLL. <33333333333
All of you have settled for the anime. But you have NO IDEA what you are missing out on. Omg. Like... the anime started at the END of the SECOND original Trigun manga, and even then is where the manga really veers off of the storyline of the series.... To put it in perspective, the Trigun animated series ended in 1998, I think...? Well, Trigun Maximum 4 was originally published in 2000. And now, the author's at 11.
Buy. Buy. It's like reading the most incredibly sexy doujinshi ever. LOVE LOVE LOVE FOR YASUHRIO NIGHTOW you must all LOVE that man. <33333
(Not to mention the fact that he is aware of the huge yaoi fandom that exists around his series, and he said in an interview that, I quote loosely: "Fans can interpret Vash and Wolfwood's relationship any way they want to, though I must say that it's a little strange that two men would get to bed so quickly.")

....Ahem. Wow. That was longer than I planned. XD; Anyway, yeah. Since I couldn't stay over at anyone's on Friday night, (I had to see my psychiatrist and start on a Japanese video project the next morning), I basically wasted the hours away reading manga. XD Including TRIGUN MAXIMUM NUMBER FOUR, (of course), Yami No Matsuei 3, (yes, Chelz, I'm finally reading it, courtesy of my friend Zac XD), and Fushigi Yuugi 2 and 3, (I finally got around to it! ^_^)
People from my Japanese class came over on Saturday, and we made Oyakodon, (weird rice stuff with eggs and onions and chicken and stuff), on top for our project. We filmed it all right... but then we ended up having to import it onto my brother's computer so that he only had NINE MEGABYTES of disk space left. Woo. Had to clean that out afterwards... XD; Hopefully, I'll be able to fix that up when I have the equipment today...
Court came over and we wrote, (oh yes we did... hehehe...), along with playing Suikoden and stuff COMMANDER KRRAAAZEEE um hi.
Emi came over on Sunday to edit her project, though, as mentioned before, we did not have proper equipment, so we kinda... gave up and just hung around. XD I finished Fushigi Yuugi 4 and 5 as well, and Court was proud. <3
So yeah. That was my weekend.
....I am so tired augh. x___x;
