HEY, GUYS.

Okay, serious bizness: I would really, really appreciate it if you guys helped out with a paper I'm doing for a class. What kind of paper? Well, it's for a Linguistic Anthropology course, and I'm looking at the internet (naturally) and what kinds of social cues, linguistic devices, and levels of interaction we have, etc., and what it reflects about its users. My angle is that people usually look at Facebook or MySpace when they talk about how the internet has changed the way people use language, but I'd like to look at the RP, LJ, and more-or-less well-spoken subculture on this side of the internet, possibly with an emphasis on fandom/RP depending on what kind of info I get. (You'll see what I mean in the questions.)

I'd say what my ideas are, but um, wanna wait until I get evidence and all that. 8D (Also, I know there's an intense statistical bias, considering where I'm posting this to, but since the paper is supposed to be in a half-research, half-observation ethnographic format, I think it's okay. Plus, I just need to get this done. D8)
